Manager, Supply Chain

:\r\n\r\nPurpose Of The Role\r\n\r\nThe Manager, Supply Chain will be responsible for planning, leading, and controlling the end-to-end supply chain function to ensure uninterrupted mining operations at optimal cost, quality, and service levels. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across procurement, logistics, inventory, supplier management, and contract administration, while ensuring compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and safety standards.\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities \r\n\r\n \tEnsure full compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and statutory requirements across all supply chain activities\r\n \tDevelop and implement the site supply chain strategy aligned with operational and business objectives\r\n \tLead and manage procurement, logistics, expediting, inventory management, and contract administration functions\r\n \tOversee supplier sourcing, tender evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards in line with delegated authority\r\n \tManage supplier performance, contract compliance, and supply chain risk mitigation\r\n \tCoordinate logistics and freight forwarding activities for local and international procurement\r\n \tDrive inventory optimisation, critical spares planning, and supply continuity\r\n \tLead, coach, and develop supply chain personnel to achieve performance and succession objectives\r\n \tEnsure effective use of ERP systems (Pronto preferred) and accurate reporting of key supply chain KPIs\r\n\r\n\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\n\r\n \tDegree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline\r\n \tPostgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) will be an added advantage\r\n \tMembership of\u00a0ZIPS\r\n \tAll qualifications must be certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience & Skills\r\n\r\n \tMinimum\u00a08 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in senior supply chain, procurement, or contracts roles within mining, resources, or heavy industry\r\n \tAt lea
