Environmental & Social Governance (ESG) Officer

\r\nJob Purpose\r\nTo provide strategic leadership, management, coordination and direction in the planning, design, and execution of ZCCM-IH\u2019s ESG strategy, policies, procedures and overall ESG Compliance function at Company and on a Group level with the view to manage risk and reputation that will create opportunities to obtain access to land, capital, approvals and overall social acceptance of the business.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nPlanning and managing,\r\n\r\nContribute to the implementation of the ESG strategies and guidance documents.\r\n\r\nHelp develop ESG strategy that is achievable, evidence-based, and data-led.\r\n\r\nResponsible for managing the implementation and reporting of the ESG strategy for the company and the group.\r\nimpacting the company value, investor standings, brand and employer value proposition of ZCCMIH and its Group.\r\n\r\nContinuously works toward improving the ESG reporting processes and related internal control environment to ensure ESG data reliability and accuracy.\r\n\r\nWorks closely with team members, functions and business units to implement robust, audit-proof reporting processes and internal controls.\r\n\r\nResponsible for the development, benchmarking, implementation, and review of appropriate sustainability objectives, targets, and improvement programs for each portfolio.\r\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Reporting\r\nLeads the annual ESG Report preparation including information and data gathering, content development and external assurance.\r\n\r\nEnsures alignment with ESG disclosure requirements and best practices. Identifies potential challenges and proactively manages them to ensure on time and quality deliverables.\r\n\r\nManages multiple and complex internal and external ESG information request ensuring quality of deliverables in line with company standard and positions and ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.\r\n\r\nLeads and\/or support implementation of projects aimed at improving ESG reporting and discl
