Reporting to: Human Resource Director Job Summary As a School Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students and guiding a team of dedicated educators. Job search platform Key Responsibilities Policy & Compliance Ensure compliance with Zambia Ministry of Education policies. Liaise with the Ministry of Education on syllabus changes, exam dates, and policy updates. Ensure the school meets all requirements for exam registrations and annual renewals. Academic Leadership Oversee implementation of the Zambian curriculum and ECZ examination requirements for all examination classes. Ensure quality teaching, learning, and assessment across all subjects, recommending interventions where necessary. Lead academic quality assurance through lesson observations, work scrutiny, and examination analysis. Monitor lesson planning, ensuring teachers prepare lesson plans, weekly forecasts, and schemes of work. Use data tracking and interventions to raise academic standards. Select appropriate curricula for Primary and Secondary sections. Examinations & Reporting Prepare the school for national examinations, including secure storage of examination papers. Oversee timetables, examinations, and academic reporting. Prepare monthly reports for the school section.
