Assistant Cashier

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent front-desk service. • Take orders (dine-in, take-away, or phone orders where applicable). • Process payments using cash, card, mobile money, or POS systems. • Issue receipts, invoices, and correct change accurately. • Maintain and balance the cash register at the start and end of shifts. • Record all sales transactions correctly in the system. • Assist in packing take-away orders when needed. • Handle customer inquiries, complaints and escalate issues to management. • Ensure the cashier area is clean, organized, and presentable. • Support waiters and kitchen staff during busy periods. • Follow all restaurant cash-handling and safety procedures.
