Business Development Manager – Copperbelt

As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, expand market share, and build lasting customer relationships across key sectors. Someone who combines strong business development experience with the ambition and capacity to grow into a senior management position over the coming years. Responsibilities Develop and implement robust business development strategies to drive growth and increase market share. Collaborate with the management teams, both in-country and at headquarters, to align business development strategies with the company overall objectives Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services. Core market segments include Retail, Resellers, Light Vehicle Workshops, Transporter Fleets, Mining Workshops, Agricultural, Government tenders and Building/Construction contractors Forge strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and business partners to secure long-term business growth. Grow existing product ranges and oversee the introduction of new products and services within the scope of the company’s core capabilities, ensuring they meet market needs and contribute to revenue growth. Become familiar with the various workshop (electrical, diesel fuel injection, hydraulic, generator) disciplines in order to market these service capabilities. Prepare and deliver regular reports on business growth, new business leads, and customer feedback. Mentor and lead a team, setting objectives and monitoring performance to ensure continuous improvement and readiness for leadership roles.
