:\r\n\r\nPurpose of the Role:\r\n\r\nSupervise the execution of the following functions;\r\n\r\n \tConstruction and maintenance of all in-pit haul roads as per design\r\n \tConstruction and maintenance of all in-pit ramps as per design\r\n \tConstruction and maintenance of all pit perimeter roads as per design\r\n \tLoading and transportation of aggregate products\r\n \tProjects \u2013 construction of safety berms, desilting, crusher tipping bay clean ups and rehabilitation, water control, construction of pads for overhead power line poles\r\n \tDust suppression\r\n\r\nSpecific Job Responsibility\r\n\r\n \tEnforce all aspects of the company\u2019s health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.\r\n \tEnsure new pit ramps and haul roads are built as per design\r\n \tManage waste dumps as per design and ensure safety of equipment\r\n \tEnsure maintenance of haul roads and waste dumps are done on a timely and regular basis\r\n \tEnsure delivery of aggregate products to the various areas are done in a timely manner\r\n \tEnsure safety berms are constructed as per design, control water haul roads, waste dumps and along pit perimeter\r\n \tMust be proactive with job planning for minimal disruption to production\r\n\r\nJob Specific Competencies\r\n\r\n \tGood leadership qualities \u2013 Bolder, Smarter, Driven\r\n \tGood team building capability\r\n \tEffective planning\r\n \tAbility to enforce and maintain discipline according to company code of conduct\r\n \tAbility to enforce and maintain safe working practices and conditions\r\n \tAbility to work under extreme pressure\r\n\r\nKey Job Attributes\r\n\r\n \tDemonstrate personal commitment in regard to safety and environmental practices\r\n \tAbility to constantly provide quality workmanship\r\n \tAbility to maintain a high standard of efficiency, safety and effectiveness\r\n \tAbility to identify safety hazards and rectify\/control\r\n\r\nExperience required to perform in this job\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\u00b7\u00a0\u0
