:\r\nDictionaries & Encyclopedias\r\nPURPOSE\r\n\r\nTo supervise the Earthworks crews, to ensure all activities within the area of jurisdiction is carried out to the expected standards from the production and safety point of view.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\nThis position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to the following:\r\n\r\nHealth, safety and environment,\u00a0Quality,\u00a0Finance,\u00a0Human resources and any other regulations as required by the company relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function. Other responsibilities will include;\r\n\r\n \t\r\n\r\n \tTo work with the Earthwork Operations team to optimize the use of equipment in the assigned areas of responsibility\r\n \tTo actively demonstrate leadership and supervision over resources allocated within the area of responsibility.\r\n \tTo ensure safety standards are upheld in the area of responsibility according company policy and procedures\r\n \tSupervise a team of operators during day to day operations\r\n \tReport to the Foreman Operations as direct supervisor\r\n \tTo ensure that all prestart check lists are accurately completed and signed by the operators\r\n \tAttend to any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\n\r\n \tGrade Twelve (12) School Certificate or equivalent\r\n \tCertificate in Earthworks and Construction or any related discipline\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEXPERIENCE\r\n\r\n \tA minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the field\r\n \tPrior experience in similar roles in the construction industry\r\n \tProven track record of supervising and managing people","datePosted":"2026-07-13T05:46:01","validThrough":"2026-07-23T00:00:00","employmentType":"FULL_TIME","hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"First Quantum Mineral","sameAs":"https:\/\/jobwebzambia.com\/jobs\/person-charge-first-quantum-mineral\/"},"jobLocation
