Job description: Job category filters Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this role is to lead the Reliability Engineers Team in compliance with the Strategic Asset Management Plan, which includes periodic reviews of the asset management strategies, continuous improvement based on defect elimination, root cause analysis investigations, performance reporting and work management process monitoring. Specific Job Responsibilities: Ensure compliance of the team with safety procedures, standards and training. Implement and manage a periodic review of the asset management strategies for the plant production equipment. Manage a continuous defect elimination process ensuring the chronic failures are identified, analysed and actioned. Lead the RCA process for high impact events to identify the root causes, define corrective actions and follow up on the implementation. Implement and maintain a comprehensive database of the actions derived from the defect elimination and RCA processes. Implement effective reporting, communication and interaction with the other sections to ensure corrective actions assigned to each are completed. Provide the necessary resources for the team to execute their work in a safe and technically correct manner. Provide leadership and mentoring for the subordinates, including ongoing training and development, performance management, conflict management and crisis management. Ensure the right people are
