:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nTo safely execute maintenance work according to the prescribed standards while ensuring the safety of self and others\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\r\n\r\n \tKeeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.\r\n \tMaintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.\r\n \tVerifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.\r\n \tComplies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.\r\n \tMaintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.\r\n \tMaintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.\r\n \tKeeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.\r\n \tContains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.\r\n \tKeeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.\r\n \tUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.\r\n \tAccomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed\r\n \tProvide training and development opportunities for all direct reports on an ongoing basis, with a particular focus on Zambian employees\r\n \tOther duties as\u00a0 instructed by the Supervisor\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS:\r\n\r\n \tGrade Twelve (Grade 12)\r\n \tCraft Certificate in HER from recognised institution\r\n \tZAQA Certification\r\n \tClass C Driver\u2019s Incense\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEXPERIENCE:\r\n\r\n \tA minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar
