VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT: COMMUNITY LIAISON INTERN Lumwana Mining Company is seeking to recruit a highly committed individual for the position of Community Liaison Intern to join the versatile Community Relations team. Reporting to the Senior Community Relations Officer – Community Liaison, you will be responsible for serving as a primary bridge between Lumwana Mining Company and the surrounding communities by building trust, fostering positive relationships, and establishing effective communication channels between the Company and community stakeholders. Your Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following : Support the planning, promotion, and coordination of community meetings, events, and outreach programmes. Distribute approved informational materials and communicate the organization’s mission, programmes, and initiatives to community members. Assist in coordinating community meetings and stakeholder engagement activities. Maintain direct and professional contact with community members and stakeholders. Support the collection, recording, and analysis of community feedback, grievances, and stakeholder sentiment. Identify community groups and support the development of partnerships and collaborations that promote genuine community empowerment. Support the implementation and monitoring of community development initiatives and programmes. Assist in conducting community surveys, consultations, awareness campaigns, and other engagement activities.
