Job Title: Technical Sales Representative – Telematics & GPS Department: Sales, Marketing & Technical Services Reports To: Commercial Manager / Operations Manager Duty Station: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Contract Mission: To drive business growth by combining technical installation excellence with aggressive, professional sales activity, securing fleet tracking contracts, and providing customer-centric support to increase the overall revenue of Aston Air Car Rentals. Key Job Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Commercial/Operations Manager, below are the Key Job Responsibilities: Technical Installation: Install, configure, activate, and test vehicle GPS tracking devices according to manufacturer and company specifications. Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-installation vehicle inspections and perform rigorous post-installation testing (location accuracy, ignition status, power supply, and network connectivity) while protecting vehicle electrical systems and wiring. Business Development: Actively identify and pursue potential GPS tracking customers through direct sales, corporate visits, telemarketing, and digital networking. Pipeline Management: Prepare accurate quotations, follow up on prospective leads, conduct product demonstrations, and convert prospects into paying customers to meet monthly sales targets.
