Workplace Type Onsite Location Siavonga, Zambia – 10101 Job role Construction Supervision and Coordination • Supervising and coordinating daily construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. • Allocating tasks, monitoring productivity, and providing guidance to subordinates and site personnel. • Monitoring project progress against work plans and reporting delays, risks, or deviations to the Assistant Project Manager. • Coordinating with internal departments and relevant site teams to ensure smooth project implementation. Quality Control and Inspection • Inspecting ongoing construction works and verifying the quality of materials, workmanship, and completed structures. • Ensuring construction works comply with required standards, company policies, approved drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements. • Identifying construction quality issues and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented. • Promoting continuous improvement in construction practices, quality standards, and site productivity. Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance • Enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on all construction sites. • Conducting daily toolbox talks and ensuring workers use the required personal protective equipment (PPE). • Investigating and reporting site incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. • Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment throughout construction activities.
