:\r\n\r\nOverall, Job Purpose\r\n\r\n \tTo assist the Aggregate crusher operations with stockpile management, feeding of crusher plants and loading trucks.\r\n \tThis role will carry out the activities of the Multi-Skilled Operator at the Aggregate crusher to ensure the application of appropriate levels of safety and productivity are maintained.\r\n \tThe Multi \u2013 Skilled Operator is an important role established to support operations at Aggregate crusher.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSpecific Job Responsibility\r\n\r\n \tConduct prestart and post inspection of an excavator.\r\n \tEnsuring that the housekeeping of the machine is well maintained to a good standard.\r\n \tReport mechanical defects immediately.\r\n \tEnsure good operation practices.\r\n \tMaintain water drainage as required by supervisor.\r\n \tReport all substandard\/unsafe conditions to Supervisor.\r\n \tFollow applicable safety procedures.\r\n \tAbility to follow and execute work instructions in a safe and orderly manner.\r\n \tCarry out any other tasks as may be delegated upon you by the supervisor.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Specific Competencies\r\n\r\n \tGood communication skills.\r\n \tExcellent skills in operating a loader and excavator\r\n \tMust possess knowledge on how to do the pre- start on the machine.\r\n \tMust be able to identify defects.\r\n \tMust be conversant with controls\/parts and their functions on a machine.\r\n \tMust possess knowledge about machine shut down and emergency procedures.\r\n \tMust be able to operate a two-way radio and be able to use of modular system.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSafety:\r\n\r\n \tEnsure that all work is carried out according to mine safety standards and procedures\r\n \tAssist with training staff on mine safety standards\r\n \tContinuous on the job risk analysis\r\n \tReport all unsafe or near missis to crushing supervisor\r\n \tEnsure proper and safe use of excavator and loader\r\n \tOperate strictly according to company and statutory quality, safety, environmental and
