Excavator/Heavy-Duty Mechanic

KUMA INVESTMENTS POSITION: EXCAVATOR / HEAVY-DUTY MECHANIC Kuma Investments is seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator / Heavy-Duty Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment at its operations in Chipata, Zambia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect, service and repair excavators and other heavy equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults. Maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems and related components. Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise equipment downtime. Maintain service records and report equipment defects. Observe workshop and site safety procedures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS At least 2 years of relevant heavy-duty mechanical experience. Practical experience maintaining or repairing excavators. Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems. Relevant mechanical qualification or demonstrable technical competence. Ability to identify faults and carry out repairs safely. Duty Station: Chipata, Zambia. Sharing is Caring!
