JOB VACANCY: CHINESE CHEF Company: Weaverbird Supply Chain Limited Job Title: Chinese Chef Location: Lusaka Employment Type: Full-time ROLE OVERVIEW As a Chinese Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Chinese dishes with precision and flair. You will work closely with our kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality, kitchen hygiene, and consistency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, cook, and present a variety of traditional Chinese dishes. Ensure all dishes are prepared according to our established recipes and quality standards. Manage kitchen operations and workstation cleanliness. Adhere strictly to food safety and health & safety regulations. Assist in developing new menu items or seasonal specials. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a Chinese Chef. Extensive knowledge of Chinese culinary techniques (Wok work, steaming, braising, knife skills). Deep understanding of ingredients, seasonings, and traditional flavor profiles. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food quality. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certification in food safety/hygiene. Language proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus. Sharing is Caring!
