JOB OPPORTUNITIES – MINING SECTOR Progress Likobama Consultant Group is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Mining Sector for the following positions: 1. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Location: Chingola, Copperbelt Salary: K15,000 per month Start Date: January 2027 Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage. Fully paid-up ZIHRM membership is mandatory. 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the mining or industrial sector. Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR practices. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Valid Driver’s Licence is required. All academic and professional qualifications must be verified/validated by ZAQA where applicable. 2. SAFETY MANAGER Location: Chingola, Copperbelt Salary: K15,000 per month Start Date: January 2027 Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Safety Management or a related field. Relevant professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage. 5–8 years of relevant Safety experience, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sector. Previous managerial or supervisory experience will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and mining safety practices. Valid Silicosis Certificate/Medical Clearance required. Valid First Aid Certificate required. Strong leadership, communication, analytical and reporting skills.
