Marketing Officer

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Zambia Cargo and Logistics Limited (ZCL) is a regional logistics service provider and wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), with terminals in Tanzania (Dar es Salaam), Walvis Bay (Namibia) and operating centre in Ndola, Zambia. Zambia Cargo and Logistics (ZCL) is inviting applications from suitably qualified Zambians to be considered for employment to fill the vacant position listed hereunder: 1. MARKETING OFFICER – 1 POST (A) Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in marketing. Experience in digital marketing, social media management and content development. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns. Proven experience in customer engagement. Marketing experience in the Transport and Logistics Sector will be an added advantage. (B) Skills & Personal Attributes Strong marketing and business development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Digital marketing and social media management skills. Market research and analytical skills. Customer-focused and commercially aware. Creativity and ability to develop engaging marketing content. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. (C) Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives and business targets. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitor activities and new business opportunities. Promote the Company’s logistics and cargo service
