POSITION : Engineer – Project Implementation (01) REPORTS TO : Senior Engineer – Project Implementation Job Purpose To effectively supervise, coordinate and manage the implementation of water supply and sanitation infrastructure projects (both in-house and contractor-executed), ensuring compliance with technical specifications, contractual obligations (including FIDIC conditions or equivalent), environmental and social safeguards, and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Project Supervision and Implementation – Supervise construction works and ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality and timelines. 2. Contract Administration – Administer contracts, payments, variations, claims and Extensions of Time (EOTs) in accordance with contract conditions. 3. Planning, Monitoring and Reporting – Prepare work plans, monitor progress and produce periodic project reports. 4. Design and Technical Support – Prepare and review designs, drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates. 5. Environmental and Social Safeguards – Ensure compliance with environmental, social, health and safety requirements. 6. Stakeholder Coordination – Coordinate contractors, consultants, internal departments, regulators and other stakeholders. 7. Quality and Risk Management – Ensure Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) compliance and identify and mitigate project risks. 8.
