:\r\n\r\nTechnician, Instrumentation \u2013 Engineering\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Purpose:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTo be responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Instrumentation and related equipment, used for the operation and optimization of the plant process & control systems, as well as minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing equipment availability.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, to efficiently and effectively deliver complete and appropriate Planned Preventative Maintenance Task schedules on all relevant equipment, ensuring that administration in the areas of responsibility is up to date and accurate, contributing expertise and support to the Engineering and Processing departments\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSpecific Job Responsibilities:\r\n\r\nThe duties for the role will include but are not limited to the following:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \t\u00a0Install, setup, calibrate, maintain, fault finding and maintain a wide variety of field Instrumentation devices and equipment, related to modern automated processing plants\r\n \tSetup, calibrate, certify, maintain and troubleshoot PA (Process Automation) devices density and conveyor belt scale systems\r\n \tSetup, calibrate, certify, maintain and troubleshoot weighbridge systems.\r\n \tAny other tasks as may be delegated upon by the supervisor\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Specific Competencies:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \t\r\n\r\n \tField Bus systems, specifically Profibus (DP & PA) and Modbus\r\n \tSiemens S7-range of PLC hardware installation and troubleshooting\r\n \tExceptional skills in Field Instrumentation, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nJob market analysis\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Job Attributes:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \tDetail Orientation\r\n \tTroubleshooting\r\n \tProblem solving\r\n \tAbility to work under pressure\r\n \tFluent in English\r\n \tAble to work shifts, Standby and overtime where required\r\n \tExposure to dust, noise and environmental elements\r\n \tA self-starter th
